Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the safe and successful execution of industrial construction projects across North America.

This role is responsible for managing construction activities from mobilization through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, clients and suppliers to coordinate field execution and resolve issues before they impact project delivery.

This is a travel-intensive role and is ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, leading teams and delivering successful industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Management

  • Manage on-site construction activities across multiple industrial projects.
  • Lead site mobilization and project start-up activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
  • Ensure construction work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues before they impact project delivery.
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract requirements.

Health, Safety, & Quality

  • Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
  • Lead toolbox talks and site coordination meetings.
  • Monitor quality throughout construction.
  • Ensure all punch list items are completed prior to project handover.

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with Project Managers to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate engineering support for field issues.
  • Review construction drawings for constructability.
  • Manage RFIs and field change requests.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries and site logistics.
  • Assist with project planning and sequencing.

Commercial Management

  • Monitor subcontractor performance.
  • Review subcontractor progress and payment applications.
  • Identify potential change orders and commercial risks.
  • Support cost control initiatives.
  • Assist Project Managers with forecasting site progress and costs.

Client Relationships

  • Act as Precision Partners’ primary on-site representative.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Maintain a professional presence that reflects the company’s reputation for quality and integrity.

Commissioning Support

  • Coordinate mechanical completion activities.
  • Support commissioning and start-up.
  • Ensure construction documentation is complete.
  • Assist with final project closeout and client handover.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 7–15 years of industrial construction experience.
  • Experience managing field construction for industrial or heavy industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical equipment installation, structural steel, piping and electrical coordination.
  • Experience managing subcontractors.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.

Preferred

  • EPC project experience.
  • Experience with emissions control systems, power generation, biomass, waste-to-energy or process plants.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
  • Familiarity with commissioning and plant start-up activities.

Position Summary

The Lead Structural Engineer will be responsible for the structural engineering design of industrial facilities and equipment support systems.

You’ll work closely with our mechanical, process and project management teams to deliver practical, buildable engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable design codes.

  • PE License (preferred but not essential)
  • Industrial EPC experience

  • Familiarity with STAAD, RISA or RAM software

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical engineering aspects of multiple industrial projects from concept through detailed design and construction support.

This is a technical leadership role rather than a people management position. You’ll provide mechanical engineering expertise, mentor project engineers, coordinate with structural, electrical and process engineers, and work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.

  • FE or PE desirable but not required
